Currently Maryam leads intermediate vigorous and nurturing yoga classes in White Plains, with focus on the breath and
alignment. She encourages the students to approach their practice with a sense of play, mindfulness and lack of judgment. The classes are during lunch time and last about 1 hour and fifteen minutes (walk in price - $12). Private classes can also be arranged.
Maryam is a certified yoga instructor from Om Yoga Center in NYC, and has received teacher training from various master teachers. She leads international yoga retreats (in Costa Rica, Mexico and elsewhere).

The style is varied, and includes breath work (pranayama),deep exploration of postures (asanas), flow series (vinyasa) and meditation.
