Sukha is a yoga Sanskrit term that means ease, happiness, bliss and good space. It is our mission to create a community
that fosters these qualities through offerings of yoga, workshops and spiritual wellness classes. We welcome all yogis, from those new to yoga looking to improve flexibility and health to those advanced practitioners wanting to deepen their physical and spiritual practice. We are located near the downtown area of Novato, within walking distance to Whole Foods and the Grant Avenue shopping district. We offer a variety of yoga styles from Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Jivamukti and Restorative. Various intuitive and energy healers provide private readings, healing and group workshops. My training was at the Yoga Room in Berkeley, where I graduated from their 3-year Advanced Studies Program, and I am a certified "Relax and Renew" trainer (restorative yoga). I'm a certified Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher. I have lived in Petaluma since 2005. After feeling the disconnect between
an authentic form of yoga and how it is often practiced in current times, I decided to get my certification done from one of India's best yoga schools. I have done 1750 hours of classroom training and am certified to teach classical Hatha yoga in its pure form: Upa Yoga, Surya Kriya, Anga Mardana, Yogasanas and Bhuta Shuddhi are the modules I offer.
I also work as a photographer & graphic designer, and am a Senior Digital Artist for Athleta. I was born and raised in India, and I have been practicing yoga for the past 11 years.

I am a registered yoga instructor (E-R.Y.T.) who has been practicing yoga for 30 years and teaching for 20+. My classes
are breath oriented mostly White Lotus vinyasa(flow)style but also incorporate teachings from the Iyengar, Ashtanga and Deschikachar schools. I place emphasis on proper body alignment but also recognize the individualization of body types. My classes include both yang (heated)and yin (cooling) poses. I believe that the healing benefits of yoga go far beyond the classroom. I am also available for privates and workshops and love teaching seniors.

Sangita teaches a Trance Chanting class that uses traditional spiritual chants from many traditions. She also performs musical stories about sacred sites, multicultural dieties and legendary figures. Debbie Daly has been teaching yoga since 1999 and is the founder and owner of an award-winning yoga studio in Arizona. Drop-ins are very welcome ($10) and reservations are not required.
FLOW YOGA (Sundays & Thursdays) This mixed-level yoga class combines invigorating, strengthening movements with gentle postures that invite awareness and breath. The emphasis is on one’s inner experience and intuition rather than on outer form. An energizing set of postures inspired by Vinyasa Yoga and Yang Yoga is followed by a set of quiet and relaxing Yin Yoga postures, and a guided deep relaxation. Beginners and experienced students are welcome.
YIN YOGA (Tuesdays) In this quiet and relaxing yoga class, gentle stretching postures are held for 3-5 minutes at a time. The stillness takes practitioners deep into postures that calm the mind, lengthen the connective tissues, and increase energy flow. This practice is very beneficial for the joints, especially the hips and lower back. Gentle enough all students, including seniors. These yin yoga classes are inspired by Debbie's extensive study with Paul Grilley.
