taught in the dance program of Rio Hondo College emphasizes Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breath) and Dhyana (meditation) in the Iyengar Tradition. The classes meet twice a week for 17 weeks (Rio Hondo operates on the semester basis.) Yoga is an integral part of the dance program at Rio Hondo College. Ms. Kearns brings her expertise as a dancer, choreographer and yoga practicioner to the program. Her teaching style is anatomically sound, articulate and embracing.
This is a small, intimate studio that offers classes for everyone; from those that have never touched a yoga mat to
seasoned yoga students. The smaller class size allows for students to work at their own pace and receive more individualized attention from our experienced instructors. It also allows the student to build their own practice and achieve their specific goals.
We offer prenatal, postnatal, mommy & me, all levels hatha, vinyasa, power and gentle yoga.
