Class starts out with an anti-rheumatic series, a simple yet very powerful set of joint freeing exercise followed by traditional postures designed to stretch, tone and balance the body, finishing with deep relaxation. Anthony supplies many variations enabling all levels to enjoy the benefits of yoga. Students are encouraged to move at an individual pace taking breaks as need. It has been said, less is more.
Anthony shares with each class his knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, yoga psychology and yoga physiology to create a safe and stress free environment for self-exploration. Each class emphasizes body, breath, mental awareness and deep relaxation.
Anthony is an Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher, a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner, and Personal Trainer. He is a current member of the International Yoga Therapist Association, the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has been practicing for 10 years and continues to study, utilizing self-exploration and academic theory, in order to deepen his understanding of the body, mind and spirit.
