styles offered), Pilates (including Mat Pilates and Pilates Equipment) and Barre. All of these services can be done privately as well at one of our two locations in Ambler and Erdenheim.
What makes Twisters unique is the quality and depth of teachers across all class types and our beautiful, clean and relaxing facilities. Many of our teachers have also received training across multiple disciplines enabling clients to work privately with one teacher who can cross train them.
Here at Twisters, we encourage everyone to work at their own pace and we strive to create an atmosphere where students feel safe and comfortable. Our mission is to offer high quality instruction to help students find and embrace their passions.
Our vision is to grow with our clients and teachers, and to create a community through this evolution.

I am a private yoga instructor in the Glenside/Abington area. My style is a blend of several yoga styles, but most
closely resembles Iyengar, with a pinch of Ashtanga thrown in. I am happy to accommodate any physical limitations to traditional yoga practice. My base rate starts at $30/session for abington township residents. Outside of Abington township is an additional $10 for every 15 minutes of travel time.
Twisters Yoga offers over 60 yoga classes a week in a variety of styles, including: Classic Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Power
Vinyasa, Anusara and various styles of Hot Yoga. These styles represent different approaches to yoga with varying levels of technical difficulty / strenuousness. Our eclectic continuum of yoga classes allows us to continuously challenge our students to deepen their practice and keep their experience fresh from day to day and year to year.
Our second location is 813 Bethlehem Pike, Erdenheim, PA 19038

The inspiration for Banyan Yoga & Ayurveda springs from the Sanskrit stories of old (much like our Aesop’s Fairy Tales)
that are centered around a Banyan tree. A mouse lived in the roots of the tree, a cat in its trunk, an owl in its branches, a snake in its canopy. These animals worked together as a community. We strive to replicate the sense of community from these tales. What better way to do so then to invoke the energy of the Banyan tree?
The Banyan tree is our personal role model as well. The mighty fig roots deeply into the community and has been known to spread out across 4 acres. Banyan remains a space where you can stretch your mind and body. Join us for YOGA sessions and certifications, AYURVEDA consultations, herbalism and bodywork, MASSAGE sessions & REIKI shares, certifications and sessions.
Shakti (pronounced “shahk-tee”) comes from the Sanskrit root for divine energy. It was inspired by a vision to create
a warm, open and inviting space for exploring yoga, mindfulness, spirit and community. We invite you to our intimate and cozy studio so that you can experience each class to the fullest. Our space is meant to make you feel as though you were at home. Shakti is designed to be an individualized studio. Our goal is to create a spa inspired atmosphere so that each time you come to take a class you are having a mini retreat. The space is warmed with earthy tones and textiles to create a haven of peace and serenity. After class enjoy a warm cup of tea or lounge on our silk covered benches. You can even peruse our Shakti shop stocked with beautiful hand made bath and body products and all natural cleaning products and foods. What you experience in one visit can change your point of view and enhance every aspect of your life, for good. At Shakti we strive to make yoga a lifestyle. Shakti’s title says YOGA HEALING ARTS. We combine many modalities to help you find your creative energy. Receive one of our many wellness services, take a music or cooking class…stir up your inner fire.
We strive to help you ….. Unlike the large yoga classes typical in most gyms or fitness centers, sessions at Shakti are small and personal, addressing the body, mind and spirit with lots of individual attention for maximum benefit…and safety. Here instead of holding classes with 40 or 50 students we allow a maximum of 15. This allows each student the opportunity to have a connection their teacher, and to play a role in each others lives. We offer classes in different styles with teachers both male and female varying in age and from all teaching backgrounds. We want each student to explore what best serves them for their practice.
