Cynthia Bialek has been in the fitness industry for over 26 years. She is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and is also a
certified personal trainer, aquatic trainer and author of YOGA AFLOAT. She has her own Studio of YAVA YOGA and has just graduating her sixth group of teacher trainees this Summer. The 2011/2012 Teacher Training begins this October 2011 and runs one weekend a month until July 2012. The YAVA YOGA method has beginner to advanced levels of instruction and focuses heavily on alignment, and improving muscular strength and balance, as well as flexibility. There are specific preparitory movements for each traditional Yoga pose to assure students understand how to get into the pose but also how to hold on to the pose for an extended period of time. Cynthia runs workshops on yoga diet and spiritual healing as well as host and produce the Yoga with Cynthia TV show in Fairfax County and the Reston/Herndon Communities. Esenyl's (pronounced e-sin-nills) is a small, cozy Pilates studio and Wellness Center that offers Hatha Yoga for all
levels during the afternoon and evening hours. Unlike most studios, we keep our classes small (no more than 10 people per class). Moreover, collectively our Yoga instructors have completed over 1000 hours of training. Also, our Yoga workshops are indeed a must for those who are serious about their practice (check back often for details).
