Our classes are taught by a talented group of teachers who bring their different methodologies to teaching yoga, giving
everyone a well-rounded and enjoyable learning experience. We all share the same desire to teach with concentration on breath and inward focus, in a welcoming and non-competitive environment, so that all students may gain the benefits from their individual practice.
Yoga Classes are held at "Thrive, the Healing Center". They are taught in a gentle and accepting atmosphere, and emphasis
is placed on linking breath and movement. We listen and honor our bodies by doing only what we are able to do on any given day. Upon leaving class, we feel calmer, more at peace with ourselves, and revitalized! It is a truly wonderful experience! We offer special 6 week sessionsfor Larger Bodies, pregnant women, Cancer patients and teen age girls. Please call for these times. The first class is free, and subsequent classes are only $10. Class times are 7 pm Monday evening, 9am Tuesday morning and 11:00 am Friday morning (this Friday class is beneficial to all, but is especially geared toward women who experience chronic pain - helping them to find relief). Classes focus on proper alignment and breathwork. Private sessions include thorough intake, musculoskeletal and breath assessment, and collaboration with the client to create a safe, effective, therapeutic yoga practice to help meet client's needs and reach goals.
