We run Learn to Meditate courses in Melbourne for the general public. The six to eight week courses teach:
to relax the body and calm the mind using a range of meditation techniques. - How to work with and manage difficult thoughts and emotions. - How to integrate meditation into day-to-day life.
The courses are non-religious and practical, and are grounded in research. We also partner with local government, community organisations and schools to deliver affordable, culturally appropriate and conveniently located meditation courses and yoga classes.
With a focus on offering courses and workshops to public housing tenants, culturally and linguistically diverse members of the community and the disadvantaged, we ensure cost, location and cultural background are not a barrier to experiencing the benefits of meditation and yoga.
Kimberley Roberts is a hatha yoga teacher and mentor in yoga as a way of life. Inspired by the wonder of conscious
breathing, she has been teaching yoga for over 12 years and practicing yoga for her entire adult life. In 2003, Kimberley studied extensively in Northern India and imbibed the traditional yogic lifestyle at Satyananda Ashram/Bihar Yoga University. Receiving much of her inspiration from nature, Kimberley's vision is of inspiring people to practice yoga as a means of releasing their burdens and embracing their lives: to enjoy a daily yogic lifestyle that inherantly reveals great richness, depth and profound wonder in our everyday experience.
Kimberley has deep roots in the practice of yoga, embracing all lineages as both an ancient tradition and a modern experience. She is formally trained with the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) and is an accredited Satyananda Yoga Teacher.
Based in Melbourne, Kimberley teaches general classes, the popular "Yoga for Wellbeing" course, workplace yoga, and one-to-one sessions; as well as treating her students to local and international immersion retreats. Please see website for a list of current classes.

her own and others’ learning processes, seeking the balance of intention and well-being that lies therein. Her classes are strong, yet playful and healing. Nina is both a yoga teacher and a massage therapist. She brings the two professions together in a yoga practice that emphasizes physical alignment as well as mental and spiritual well-being.
Suttabuut teaches a style of Yoga from Thailand that will increase your well-being by using the breath to achieve
strength and flexibility and to carry you through a choreography of poses. The style is based on Iyengar and is suitable for beginners and the more advanced students.
Yoga classes in Kensington are held in the beautifully renovated Kensington Town Hall, which is heated and air conditioned and filled with natural light. The Yoga studio looks over the wind swept peppercorn trees in the adjacent park.
