I teach one on one and small groups in Melbourne, Victoria and Surrounding Suburbs and the Gold Coast Queensland

My interest in yoga began in 1990 whilst attending Adelaide University. It was during this period I was introduced to this wonderful art form by the head of the dance department, David Roche and his partner Simi who are renowned Ashtanga Instructors .Both became my inspiration, fueling my fire to explore yoga more deeply.

Having danced all my life as well as always being fit and health conscious I found yoga was the perfect complimentary form of movement that filled in the ‘missing’ spaces that the others were failing to address.

I decided to attend a yoga teaching course at The Sydney Yoga Centre and later gained a Diploma in Yoga Teaching. I have completed a Fitness Leaders training course here in Melbourne and hold a Diploma in Sports Nutrition.

My teaching is passionate and intuitive, taking care to attend to individual needs where appropriate in class situations and private sessions.

I choose to teach yoga from the point of not idolizing the body for it’s accomplishments but appreciating it in the here and now and enjoying the journey fully awake and aware.

I work along side each client and strive towards all of their goals with dedication and enthusiasm with a view to succeeding.

My style is largely influenced by a combination of Ashtanga and Iyengar but has evolved (as is everyday) into more of my own blend.
