Peachy Yoga is bringing yoga for all to Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne.
Why yoga in the park? Why not! Yoga is about
creating movement with a connection to the breath. It is an opportunity to bring calmness into the mind and body - and what better place to find calmness than in a park! Due to our busy lives - we rarely can find time to sit and enjoy the amazing environment that is around us, yoga in the park not only allows you to find time to give back to yourself, but also allows you to connect with nature.
The style is based on Hatha/Flow which basically means anyone of any ability can enjoy it. The main focus is on correct alignment of the body to ensure safety and to get the best benefit from the poses. The style and pace can be tailored to what you want to ensure you really are getting the most out of your yoga practice.
The damage: $10 a class
The Location: Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne CBD
The Timetable: Wednesdays and Thursdays from November through to the end of March.
Times have been set to suit the early birds and the night owls
*The Thursday evening class is a community class - therefore the payment is a donation to your chosen charity (there will be three options available on the night). This class has been set up to help the up and coming yoga teacher trainers practice their teaching techniques. So if you’re happy to be a volunteer and watch these new trainees blossom - this class is for you!
Suttabuut teaches a style of Yoga from Thailand that will increase your well-being by using the breath to achieve
strength and flexibility and to carry you through a choreography of poses. The style is based on Iyengar and is suitable for beginners and the more advanced students.

I teach one on one and small groups in Melbourne, Victoria and Surrounding Suburbs and the Gold Coast Queensland
interest in yoga began in 1990 whilst attending Adelaide University. It was during this period I was introduced to this wonderful art form by the head of the dance department, David Roche and his partner Simi who are renowned Ashtanga Instructors .Both became my inspiration, fueling my fire to explore yoga more deeply.
Having danced all my life as well as always being fit and health conscious I found yoga was the perfect complimentary form of movement that filled in the ‘missing’ spaces that the others were failing to address.
I decided to attend a yoga teaching course at The Sydney Yoga Centre and later gained a Diploma in Yoga Teaching. I have completed a Fitness Leaders training course here in Melbourne and hold a Diploma in Sports Nutrition.
My teaching is passionate and intuitive, taking care to attend to individual needs where appropriate in class situations and private sessions.
I choose to teach yoga from the point of not idolizing the body for it’s accomplishments but appreciating it in the here and now and enjoying the journey fully awake and aware.
I work along side each client and strive towards all of their goals with dedication and enthusiasm with a view to succeeding.
My style is largely influenced by a combination of Ashtanga and Iyengar but has evolved (as is everyday) into more of my own blend.

Meditation Yoga Classes & Courses, Yarraville, Melbourne
MIND-YOGA, MEDITATION COURSES provide training in traditional,
authentic Kundalini Yoga Meditation.
MIND-YOGA, MEDITATION YOGA is an ancient system of practice going back thousands of years.
MEDITATION YOGA is disciplined training in Complete Yoga - incorporating the Body; the Breath; the Mind; and the Spirit. Body, Breath and Mind form one functional 'bio-energetic' system.
MEDITATION YOGA is not 'posture' Yoga for 'exercise' purposes. Posture, breath and mental control are the 'disciplines' necessary to create 'harmony' and 'balance' between Mind and Body. Harmony and balance lead to the natural unfolding of the process known as Meditation.
MEDITATION YOGA is a disciplined, sequenced methodology of practice, incorporating physical posture (asana) ; breath regulation ( pranayama) ; and mental focus (dharana/dhyana) designed to impact upon the bio-energetic functioning of the central nervous system, bringing 'the restless mind' to a state of 'stillness', and 'the dissatisfied heart' to the experience of 'love' and 'fulfilment'.
MEDITATION YOGA results in profound Inner Peace & Love - the true nature of your Self.
