I have also attended advanced workshops and immersions for teachers in Anusara yoga and Thai Yoga massage. Since 2011, I have received my Anusara-inspired certification. I now teach in Tervuren and in my home studio in Wezembeek-Oppem, near Brussels. Moving in September 2011 to Brussels (Wezembeek-Opem). Classes are held in French and/or English. By promoting the flow of energy (Qi through the energy channels (meridians) of our deep Yin core we can help bring health to our bodies and balance to our busy Yang style lives.

By understanding that we are all unique in the way our bones are shaped and therefore how our postures look and feel, we are more easily able to drop the need to have our practice look like anyone else’s. We can let go of our need to strive to be different from who we are. This sense of acceptance is the Yin path. Yin yoga is a gentle practice that brings yoga back to its internal meditative roots, teaching you to relax. Most Yoga techniques focus on stretching and stabilizing muscles, neglecting the layer of the body that connects it. Yin Yoga is often referred to as “lazy yoga” because it focuses mainly on floor postures that don’t require much exertion or strength. However, Yin Yoga is one of the more challenging types of yoga because it requires deep concentration and patience in order for poses to be effective.
