Akasha Center is a non-profit organization in Cyprus offering a wide range of activities in Yoga, Tantra, Arts, Complementary
and Alternative therapies by qualified professionals (permanent and visiting collaborators).
Each department of the center includes a number of classes, courses, seminars, workshops and one-to-one sessions, and covers a variety of subjects from ancient, contemporary and interdisciplinary practices.
Galileo once said: "There is nothing we can teach to people, we can only help them discover it within themselves." This is also our intention: to provide effective tools and methods through yoga, tantra, arts and holistic therapies for the development of human potential into the path of self-Transformation and Evolution. We do not offer conventional medical treatment. Yoga, Meditation, Tantra, Arts, Holistic Therapies, etc., have therapeutic properties on the human body and psyche in a simple way as an alternative self-therapy.
Additionally to Vinyasa and Power Yoga classes, private and semi-private yoga classes are available upon appointment.
Corporate Yoga workshops upon request. Classes aim to encourage a deeper body-mind connection through attention to breath whilst providing a full body workout increasing stamina, strenght and flexibility, improving posture and confidence as well as aiding weight control.

E-motion Dance & Health Studio was created in 2008 by Eleni Mendoni. The goal of the studio is to provide to its members
comfort and safety, whilst in a fun and professional environment. Arrangements are made so that each lesson accommodates a small number of students in each class, giving the chance to each student to have the appropriate attention from his/her trainer.
The studio also gives the option to its members to choose lessons according to their preference. Each member can choose their own combination of lessons according to their physical condition and age, and with the right guidance from the management they can choose lessons which represents their needs.
Our training program gives you the opportunity to choose various training regimes such as Pilates, Circuit Pilates, Yogalates, Prenatal Pilates and Zumba (Aerobic training and dancing with Latin rhythms). In addition, E-motion Dance & Health Studio also offers dance classes such as Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop and Commercial Hip-Hop. Each member can choose and combine several classes after a personal consultation with the management.

Ashtanga Yoga involves a dynamic sequence of physical postures in which the movement is synchronized with deep breathing thus producing intense heat that detoxifies the body at deep level and leading eventually to vibrant physical, mental and spiritual wellness. With a background in Psychology and Positive Psychotherapy, intensive trainings in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and meditative practices, current scholar studies in Indian Religions and Astrology, Simona encourages her students to pursue the ultimate goal of Yoga - Self-realization.

I focus on teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. I usually offer led primary series
classes, but also I teach Mysore-style (self-guided classes with physical adjustments) and offer workshops on the ashtanga method.
Each of the ashtanga series comprises a dynamic sequence of interlinked poses cultivating strength, flexibility, stamina, and focus. In my teaching, I seek to convey both the foundations of this method (based on the coordination of breath, movement, and gaze) and the joy derived from body movement. I provide appropriate alternatives to different bodies and their needs. My approach is heavily influenced by principles of alignment informed by Iyengar Yoga and a nuanced understanding of anatomy.

yoga classes consist of the practice of the traditional physical poses(asana),breathing practice(pranayama) and yoga nidra(relaxation). Our class approach highlights the importance of the flow from one posture to another and the link between breath and movement. This is called Vinyasa. All you really need to begin practicing yoga is your body, mind and a bit of curiosity!
I started doing yoga as a hobby back in 2005. It did not take me long to realize the benefits of this ancient system
of exercise for both body and mind. My love and passion for yoga led me to become a certified teacher (certificate by Word Yoga Alliance –WYA). Based on my experience in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, I teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Vinyasa Flow Yoga: this type of yoga has been influenced by Ashtanga and certain elements of Hatha yoga. It is a dynamic type of yoga and is designed to build a strong body and to increase flexibility resulting to a healthy body and mind. It detoxifies muscles and organs, and helps to lose weight. The movement is synchronized and raises attention to the breath, resulting to the increase of the awareness and mind focus. It results to improved blood circulation, a flexible and strong body and a peaceful mind, relieved from any tension and stress. My classes are for beginners and advanced students - small group of students per class or private sessions. The classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm-9:15pm.
