Vajrasati Yoga is recognisable by its clarity, alignment and above all it’s no nonsense teaching of traditional yoga
practice. The name is synonymous with the teacher training course run by Jim Tarran where graduates join a free association of yoga practitioners, who all benefit from shared knowledge and mutual support through sustained contact and training events.
I am a yoga teacher working in Lewes, Brighton & London specializing in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes, one
to ones, workshops and retreats. I offer dynamic classes that help fuse the breath and sequences of postures in a powerful practice, developing strength, flexibility and awareness, as well as detoxifying the system. The classes also integrate breath work and meditation to explore and quieten the mind, and some classes incorporate music to further deepen the experience.
I have been practicing yoga for over a decade with a variety of teachers and disciplines. Schools of yoga I have studied
include Iyengar, Ashtanga, Sivananda, and Viniyoga (or flow yoga) all of which exist within the Hatha yoga philosophy.
Hatha yoga has a holistic philosophy and, while in the West we tend to focus on the asana or postures, it is undeniable that physical, emotional and spiritual benefits can be felt from practicing yoga. I teach a range of yoga practices and classes from beginner level upwards.

The yoga I teach is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli as well as by those that have been called to further her
work - it is an approach to yoga practise that places its emphasis on quality of movement above achievement of postures... Although when the right conditions are met, healing occurs, and the body is suddenly able to move in astounding ways with surprising simplicity and grace. I do the occasional Ongoing Teacher Training day for Yoga Scotland and the British Wheel. I specialise in private tuition (face-to-face and online via Skype) and small group sessions in the East/West Sussex area. I also run regular training courses, workshops, yoga weekend breaks and yoga holidays and retreats around the UK, France, Spain, Thailand the USA.
My name is Gina. I am a yoga teacher offering classes, 1-to-1 sessions and yoga therapy in Brighton, Hove, Cuckfield,
Haywards Heath, Ardingly, and London.
Classes begin with a focus on the breath to help ground and acknowledge the body to realize a new potential. Integrating breath with movement helps create a natural rhythmic support and sense of well-being.
My classes include classical hatha yoga asanas (postures) to help tone, strengthen and increase flexibility. Incorporating a flowing movement of forward bends, back bends, inversions and twists to stretch the spine in eight directions, thereby balancing the central nervous system. We complete the class with a deep relaxation, essential to store and ground the energy created during the class leaving you feeling rejuvenated and revitalized!
