I hold weekly classes on a Tuesday evening and Thursday mornings at the Sawmill Studios, in Brasted offering Hatha
yoga classes incorporating asana (the postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and relaxation. The classes are energising and relaxing, working with the breath to find new strength and flexibility in the body, as well as a calmness in the mind. Classes are held: Tuesdays 1930-2100 (Mixed ability) Thursdays 0930-1100 (Intermediate) & 1115-1230 (Beginners)

I teach an eclectic style of mindfulness-based yoga including
asana, pranayama, relaxation, meditation and bits of yoga philosophy and aim to increase my students' awareness, understanding and control of their body, breath and state of mind in order to enable them to go about their daily lives with mindfulness and a sense of purpose and well-being. Yoga is for everyone, you start from where you are now, regardless of gender, age and physical and mental fitness. Come and try! I currently run a general class as well as special classes for seniors. I am also a yoga therapist, working with people living with dementia and their carers.
