We are a group of Kundalini Yoga Teachers in and around Manchester dedicated to spreading the teachings of Yogi Bhajan.
Kundalini Yoga is also known as the Yoga of Awareness and is considered the most comprehensive of yoga traditions. It is an ancient form of yoga which is dynamic and transformative. Based in the 84 postures of Hatha, Kundalini yoga brings together postures, breathing , chanting and meditation. Its focus is on self-awareness and delivering an experience of your highest consciousness. The fundamental objective is to awaken the power of the individual to excel - to experience their Infinity and fulfil their personal destiny.

I teach yoga in the Warrington area in Culcheth every Tuesday evening between 8pm and 9.30pm at the Methodist Church
Hall. I am trained in the classical school of Yoga that originated from Sivananda. I have meditated in Ashrams in India and met many spiritual teachers of many traditions. My yoga teaching is adapted to the needs of people living in the West today but still honours the spiritual principles of yoga. I teach from a universal spiritual perspective. My classes include some meditation, some flowing sequences, holding postures and relaxation at the end. They are suitable for all abilities ane creeds and are always mixed. Students should leave my classes feeling energised and relaxed.
MummyYoga courses are designed for women in their second and third trimesters. The six week course will incorporate
positive visualisation meditation, modified postures from the hatha yoga lineage that will aim to strengthen and tone your pregnant body which will be of great benefit during and after childbirth, a deep understanding and practice of relevant pranayama and ending the classes with the restorative Yoga Nidra. The classes will also allow for space to explore specific issues and concerns during pregnancy and will be complimented by thorough instructions and hand-outs to take away for home practice.

Teaching encompasses a mix of hatha and iyengar practice and will enable students to develop strength, flexibility
and stamina. Emphasis is placed on physical alignment during posture work to ensure students work safely and to provide a firm foundation from which to stretch and lengthen. Develop awareness of your breathing and how to use of the breath to deepen practice. YogaBellies believes that the beauty
of yoga and massage is that the benefits are available to children of every age group. For younger children, yoga creates a framework for total body movement and gross motor development. Older children benefit from yoga by building on their gross motor skills, while taking on challenges in strength, agility and endurance.
YogaBellies Loving Touch Baby Massage classes are for infants from newborn until “mobile” and use the unique YogaBellies touch therapies, including learning tactile massage techniques and strokes to aid growth which are soothing and bonding for Mum and baby. The benefits of baby massage include developing the body, mind, awareness and co-ordination of babies; helping to reduce colic, wind and constipation; and aiding in the regulation and strengthening of baby's digestive and respiratory systems.
YogaBellies Little Angels Yoga and for toddlers sessions are aimed at children aged 10 to 36 months and allow caregivers and toddlers to continue the bonding process through yoga and dry massage routines. The postures are all named after animals and nature which helps introduce toddlers to the wider world in a fun and playful way. These sessions are an excellent way of developing a toddler's motor skills, focus, breathing and relaxation. Yoga also enhances their cognitive ability through postures, games, stories and rhymes. In Little Angels sessions freedom of movement is encouraged and the YogaBellies motto is “the room is your yoga mat!”
The Liverpool Iyengar Yoga Studio is run by Judi Soffa, a senior level Iyengar Yoga teacher, with a team of experienced
