you are looking to train to teach yoga or you would like to spend the time deepening your understanding of yoga we run regular yoga teacher training programs in South London, you will train with Mahala at her home in a small group of no more than 5 people, you will have the opportunity to "shadow" Mahala in her regular weekly classes in Brixton and Clapham as well as the retreats in the UK and abroad at fantastic venues hand picked by Mahala.

SW-Fit Yoga: specialising in toning, firming, sculpting and strengthening the body both inside and out. Beginner or
long-term enthusiast, if you're looking to be challenged in a light-hearted environment, then this is the class for you. Yoga instructor Victoria Adams brings the passion she has for her own practice into her teaching. Influenced by Bikram and Ashtanga, she fuses a good workout with a focus on core strength, proper alignment and direction of the breath so to bring balance, better posture and new energy to the body and mind. You can work hard and be pushed just beyond your limits. Learn the poses you've always wanted to do but never thought possible.

What can you expect??
This dynamic class is open to all levels of practitioners. The asanas will be taught in a flowing Vinyasa style in which we move with the breathe to create internal heat, challenge the body while quieting the mind. Modifications are offered to lessen or intensify the asana practice, enabling students to work at their own pace. Each class will include pranayama, meditation, relaxtion along with the asanas (postures).
Who is the teacher? Erin has been practicing yoga for the last 12 years in the Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow styles of yoga. In 2004 at Discovery Yoga in St. Augustine Florida, she is a 500 hour trained teacher.She has been teaching in different studios as well as privately for the last 5 years. She also teaches yoga to children and attained her Yoga Bugs teaching certification in 2007. She has studied with some of the worlds most renowned teachers including Shiva Rea, Beryl Birch, David Swenson, MatthewSweeney , David Life, John Scott, Richard Freeman,Shri and Stan Hubbard and Manju Jois. She continues her own development of asana, pranayama and meditation daily and continues her studies and practice by attending many workshops and intensive training sessions including a 40 hour teacher?s intensive workshop with Richard Freeman..She teaches a creative and powerful Vinyasa class incorporating pranayama and meditation and is currently teaching in London in several studios as well as businesses, schools, and privately. She holds retreats both in England and internationally.

During a Studio Class at WLBC you will synchronise your breath with movements that will stretch your muscles, stabilise your joints and generally make you feel more comfortable in your own body. Classes are open to all.

I have been teaching Yoga for 17 years. I trained initially with the Yoga Academy London (200 hours RYS) followed
by advanced Yoga training in Byron bay with Yoga Arts in Australia (RYS 500). I am also a Perinatal yoga teacher, trained with Birthlight and I am also trained in Pilates,Thai yoga massage and Yin yoga.
My teaching style is a mindfulness based practice which focuses on embodiment within the Asana (yoga posture). This grounds and centres the body and cultivates awareness.
In this state, the mind is present and without thought so that it can fully connect to the body and the breath without judgment or expectation. This creates a feeling of spaciousness, freedom and flow and an acceptance of what is. Brilliant training for life! I incorporate many different forms of yoga I have learnt from numerous workshops, trainings, self-practice and enquiry.
She loves to explore the interplay between the mind and body and is constantly expanding her teaching creativity. Her interest in inner awareness led her to train as a consciousness coach.
She currently teaches from her home studio and The Exhibit in Balham.
I have practiced Yoga for many years, and have been passionate about health through Diet and Yoga since I trained
as a Nutritional Therapist 8 years ago. My class is dynamic but is paced well so that all level people feel they are keeping up. I do give Nutrition advice via handouts that I feel are useful, and I am available to anyone who has a nutrition question after class. Skip Oliver is registered with The Yoga Alliance, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to high educational standards in yoga worldwide. Skip is the author and conductor of two comprehensive training courses that have undergone years of extensive development and study.
Yoga Bananas is a labour of love - a child yoga teacher training that was founded by Vicky 'Skip' Oliver in 1998. It focuses on how to teach yoga to children of a primary school age. Its approach is fun whilst incorporating all the elements of Hatha Yoga. This course is open to yoga teachers and yoga students with a solid yoga practice including Mums who may like to introduce yoga to their own children and school teachers who may like to introduce yoga into the school day. A maximum of 4 people are permitted on each course. The course is a practical working weekend retreat that culminates in a full day of teaching in a primary school. Earn Yoga Alliance Registered Children's Teacher with this course.
whYoga for Pregnancy is a course that is open to yoga teachers and yoga students with a solid practice including Mums-to-be. The course explores the nature of a forgotten birth physiology that is simple and empowering. The course covers all three trimesters of pregnancy and also the post-partum phase. Earn Yoga Alliance 'Continuing Education Units' with this course.whYoga's training programme for yoga teachers covers pre- and post-natal care, Vicky is a doula, mother of 3 and active birth consultant. whYoga's sister partnership training programme also covers children's yoga under the auspice of Yoga Bananas.
