Emma's Vinyasa Flow classes are dynamic and deeply relaxing. Vinyasa Flow Yoga synchronises breath and movement to

All classes are Hatha Yoga classes, blending together different traditions from the various and generous teachers we have had the pleasure to learn from.
I run general yoga classes in the Crouch End area on a Monday evening and a Wednesday midday. I also offer one to
one tuition either in my studio or in your own home. The classes are friendly and accessible to both beginners and improvers. There is a focus on developing breath and body awareness with gentle and deep movement for well-being and relaxation. Individual attention is given.
I teach small group classes and private classes within a 6 mile radius of Crouch End, North London. In addition to
teacher training (3 year, BWY endorsed) I have completed Yoga Therapy courses as well as a specialist course in teaching yoga to people living with cancer. I have also trained to teach meditation and yoga nidra. I offer specialist yoga courses for people with chronic lower back pain. These courses are scientifically validated by research published in medical journals conducted by the University of York and sponsored by Arthritis Research UK. General, Pregnancy, Teenager's and Private yoga classes in a beautiful studio in the heart of Hampstead, North London
with experienced and warm teachers. Suitable for beginners upwards. Small classes with individual attention. All equipment provided. Tuition is Iyengar-based and characterised by precision and attention to detail. The classes develop strength, stamina, balance and flexibility whilst toning the whole body and improving posture.
Classes, which last one and a half hours, take place in a peaceful Tufnell Park/Kentish Town studio on Mondays, and
Wednesday evenings at 7.15pm., also Wednesday mornings at 9.45am. Beginners and intermediate students are welcome. Yoga from Within is an active and sensitive yoga with an emphasis on the consciousness while working quite dynamically with the body. Special individual attention for each participant in classes which consist of asana practice and some concentration and meditation exercises.

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic form of Hatha yoga. Poses flow from one to the next, in tune with the breath. You will develop endurance and flexibility, discovering parts of your body you didn’t even know existed!

Cost: Yoga is safe space for a mum-to-be to focus on both body and mind. Breathing techniques are taught to help calm and focus the mind whilst the poses help to strengthen the body. Both of these can be beneficial in pregnancy and labour. It is also a great place to meet and form friendships with other mums-to-be.
Pregnancy yoga classes can be attended by those in their second or third trimester.

£8 per 75 minute class. Spare mats available and all props are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own "sticky" yoga mat. Places are limited so please arrive 10 mins early.
My teaching style is one of emphasis on the breath, healthy alignment, flow of movement, building strength & flexibility, whilst also giving an opportunity for deep relaxation. I aim for all my classes to be open and friendly whilst also being focused.
