Philippa is a certified member of the Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification and has been practice yoga for over 15
years. She practices yoga daily, with a morning practices of Mysore, more dynamic yoga 5-6 days per week and a more restorative position focused Yin, Iyenga and Anusara type yoga later in the day. Before she became a fully qualified yoga teacher she had been teaching friends and step children/other children when ever she had a chance and managed to get many passionate in yoga themselves. She teachers a weekly evening class at Imperial College Ethos gym and cover at other gyms/yoga centres in South Kensington / Chelsea, whilst carry on with her consulting and coaching career part time. She is further studying other types of yoga including Vinyasa flow, anusara and budakon and studying pilates CQ Level 3. Having a good grounding in Pilates is essential to a safe yoga practice.
Philippa is type 1 diabetic diagnosed at age 10. She has an insulin pump and is insulin sensitive, meaning temperature changes, hormones, stress etc affect her blood sugar a lot more than it would other peoples. This meant she suffered a great deal of unexpected life threatening hypoglycaemia's, doctors did not think she would live past 21. Thanks to yoga and healthy living she has survived. Yoga has changed her life in so many positive, beneficial ways that she is passionate about helping others and helping them to achieve the benefits she has achieved.

I've been practicing for over 30 years and teach Scaravelli inspired yoga, a gentle yet demanding form of Hatha yoga,
which concentrates on developing core strength through releasing tension and creating length and space in the spine. It is a wonderfully soft but powerful internal yoga which uses the breath and gravity to allow the spine to unfold like a wave, allowing the opening and energising of the whole body.

Rosalie has completed a five-years Masters degree in Teaching Mindfulness Based Approaches. She teaches public groups
in London and is an associate teacher at the University of Bangor where she supervises trainee teachers and teaches distance learning programmes. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for the past twenty years. Her guiding principle in her work is that we all, already, have the capacity for well being, we just need to learn how to access it.
Rosalie has completed the five year Masters degree at Bangor, with distinction and holds a Certificate in Teacher Competency as well as her MA. Rosalie has completed a supervision training with the Centre for Mindfulness and specialises in distance learning teaching. She is in regular supervision and follows the guidelines for good practice as established by the Centre for mindfulness.
For Rosalie mindfulness teaching is her vocation and has unfolded out of her 20 year commitment to both meditation and yoga. Both practices became part of her life during a time of personal challenge and their effectiveness have meant that they have remained with her ever since. She regularly attends solitary as well as interpersonal retreats and is committed to ongoing professional and personal development. Rosalie is committed to creating well-being in all areas of her life and is keen to share the benefits of her journey with others. Her guiding principle in her work is that we all have the capacity for well-being it’s just a case of learning how to tap into our rich inner resources. What we are looking for is already there!
