Thank you for looking at my details. My name is Julie & I have been teaching one to one & group Hatha yoga classes
for all ages & abilities, children, teens & adults from 2 years old to 92, for over 15 years. My classes/sessions are friendly & non-competitive & take place in Kenilworth, at parkstreetlifestyle centre & St John's Primary School.
I am happy to personally tailored sessions to the requirements of the individual or group & can also provide programmes that include nutrition, health, life coaching, exercise, CBT, NLP, mindfulness, co-ordination & confidence building tools. I also welcome teens on Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver & Gold.
I look forward to hearing from you & if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
My classes explore the relationship between the spine, gravity and the breath. Working to undo tightness and release
tension, the body becomes more fluid. We begin to better understand our body - why it can easily move into one asana but not into another; how our breath can assist in movement. Little by little, the body moves more easily and without restriction.
Classes always begin with a quiet period - a time to begin to leave the 'external me' and start to concentrate on the 'internal me'. After our practice, the class ends with relaxation or meditation.
I am a fully qualified yoga teacher, accredited through the Association of Independent Yoga Practitioners (AIYP). I have been practising yoga for almost 20 years and teaching since January 2011.
