At Phoenix Yoga we teach Hatha Yoga inspired by the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. Our classes
offering students exercises to build flexibility in the body, develop breath awareness and promote relaxation. Classes are suitable for all levels of experience and fitness.

We also offer regular retreats, workshops and the TSYP Introductory Course (similar to the BWY Foundation course but teaching follows the tradition of of Sri T Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar).
Following a Hatha tradition, we incoporate Yoga postures (asana) and movement in coordination with the breath. Practices
are usually structured around a theme, to provide focus, reflection, and perspective to the postural and breath work. Classes combine dynamic and static work, with variations offered to provide different intensity levels. See website for current timetable. Private 1:1 yoga and yoga at work are also available.

Set in a converted mission hall this is a dedicated yoga space - warm, clean and
quiet with plenty of natural light and a lovely oak floor. We have two good sized studios with over 35 different and varied classes running every week, three therapy rooms, a coffee lounge to meet and chat, changing rooms with lockers and showers. We are in the centre of Cheltenham, two minutes walk from Debenhams. There is a big pay and display car park right on our doorstep. Open early till late, Monday to Saturday.
Classes welcome beginners to intermediate yoga students and beyond. Teaching classic hatha yoga with modern twist
and updated techniques. Emphasis on the anatomy and building confidence in performing postures. Developing self-awareness through yoga poses, breath work and some meditation with relaxation. Friendly, fun and a great way of staying flexible, strong and energised. Anna Stockley has been practising yoga for over twenty-five years. She is a qualified yoga instructor with a Teaching Diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY). She is also a fully certified Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga teacher which brings valuable benefits to her hatha yoga classes. Classes are located in the Cotswold Water Park area. Anna can also visit to provide 1:1 tuition or small private classes of 3 students (max). She also teaches yoga at schools and colleges.
