I have been teaching Sivananda style Yoga since 2003 and have won the teacher of the month award from Om Yoga & lifestyle magazine in July 2013.
My practice and teaching of yoga is inspired by the philosophy of Vanda Scaravelli and influenced by many years of
learning the Alexander Technique. I focus very much on working in a gentle and intelligent way to encourage the body to go into postures when it is ready. We offer classes, workshops and retreats in yoga practices including asana, pranayama meditation and mantra. I am also now offering Cyclic Meditation for the first time in the UK. In collaboration with other yoga practitioners and experts we offer specialist classes and workshops including Yoga and Rehabilitation, Scaravelli inspired workshops and Mantra Chant.
Classes and workshops are taught from a variety of locations and one to one tuition is also available from my yoga space and via Skype.

The Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies is a recognised independent Centre of Oxford University, which is globally renowned
for its standards of academic excellence and achievement. Each term we offer a range of online courses that explore various facets of Indian religion. For the upcoming term, starting in October, we will be offering a course in the 'Philosophy of Yoga', which will provide a detailed study of the background to Yoga practice, including discussion of texts such as the Upanishads, Bhagavad-gita and Yoga Sutras as well as the Tantric traditions and the main works on Hatha Yoga.
