Shakti dance - the yoga of dance - it is a creative and healing practice combining yoga stretches with dance steps,
leading to a free dance, then to a peaceful meditation. As a musician I like to add the element of chanting to open your heart and deepen the meditative state. Beautiful practice open to all abilities, not previous experience required.

She trained to become a yoga teacher with Brian Cooper, founder and director of Union Yoga Training, Edinburgh and author of “The Art of Adjusting”. Qigong (Chinese Yoga) to promote health and vitality. Classes in Yeovil, Wednesday afternoon at 1.30 pm, during term
times. As you get older or suffer from injury or disability and find getting down and up from the floor harder, you should try qigong (also spelt chi kung), resembling tai chi. Qigong is less demanding and easier to learn. It is often the practice of one single move with focus on the breath, repeated several times before moving on to the next move. Qigong is adaptable and suffers of injuries or disabilities can adapt the moves to their needs and even practice sitting down if necessary.
