Gentle Yoga for Beginners (Term time only, see website for dates)
We will explore the fundamentals of yoga including correct alignment and yoga breathing. Beginners classes will include limbering exercises, standing poses, seated poses, gentle backbends and relaxation.
Wednesday 12pm to 1.30pm at the Hilton Blackpool Chair Yoga (Term time only, see website for dates) This class is designed to meet the specific needs of senior adults and is structured to benefit most levels of health and fitness. Yoga poses are adapted and are done either standing or seated. Chair yoga is a great way to relax and unwind without the stress of getting down to the floor. It will help to open your hips, move your shoulders and neck, and find length in your spine.
Thursday 7pm to 8.30pm at the Hilton Blackpool Hatha Flow Yoga (Drop in £6 per class) Hatha flow yoga uses movement and breath together to produce a flow of postures that lead from one to the next. Sequences will include standing poses, seated poses, balances, supported poses, pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation. The class is suitable for people that are generally fit and well or have experience of yoga.
Saturday 9am to 10.30am at The Backroom Studio Gentle Flow Yoga (Term time only, see website for dates) An energising class, combing gentle but stimulating yoga sequences, yoga breathing and relaxation, the perfect way to start your weekend. Sequences will include standing poses, seated poses, balances, supported poses, pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation. The class is suitable for people that are generally fit and well or have experience of yoga.

suitable for men and women of all ages and abilities. There are a mix of classes to suit different abilities from the Gentle session for Seniors to the more Dynamic sessions for Improvers.
