In this training you will learn:
The traditional Mysore style of teaching combining self-practice and hands-on adjustments. Principles of Anatomy and Physiology and how they apply to each Asana (posture). Philosophical understanding of Yoga sutras (Aphorisms) of Patanjali. Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) to enhance awareness and concentration. Meditation for deeper relaxation of “body-mind” and expansion of consciousness. Gaining confidence through “practice teaching” sessions. Learning Sanskrit names of the Asanas (postures), Pranayama, Mudras (hand gestures), Bandhas (body locks). Basic knowledge of Ayurveda which is the traditional Indian system of medicine, diet, herbal treatment, etc. Chanting Mantras for purification of speech.
About the Teacher:
Bharath has been practicing yoga for 16 years and teaching for the last 12 years. He has studied
with B.K.S Iyengar in PUNE and is a certified teacher from the Indian Yoga Institute (Vivekananda Kendra, Bangalore) and has completed advanced teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Kerala. He is currently running a yoga teacher training course. Foundation Course: This Program gives practice to all at same time. Defending on their level in the asana practice. In this course one will get good under standing in each asana, and preventing from injures. One attains total balance on body, mind and breath. Classical Course: Teacher will guide in this class. During this part of the course the focus will be on the intensive practice of the classical series with forward, backward bending, twisting, balancing, inverted asanas and deep relaxation. The intention is to build up the body and mind slowly. The strength and flexibility of the students will increase. Back Bending: This is Four weeks Course for intense work on back bending. Which is working with Body Mind and Spirit. Student reaching flexible and strong body and mind. Teacher Training: Bharath conducting two type of teacher training. 1. Individual Training 2.Group training. The first group successfully completed. Course Includes Asanas practice, Pranayama and Meditation, Technical class, Anatomy & Physiology, Philosophy/Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teacher, Methodology, Teaching/Assisting, self study (expected), Karma Yoga, Kriyas.
Pranayama: Pranayama will be practiced in three deferent levels. In beginning we work with deferent type of breathing. Which promotes to under stand deferent parts of the body where the breath works.

Pranayama is such an essential part of yoga, I focused on its relationship to performing the asana
and discovered that the asana actually follows the breath and not the other way around if done properly with full awareness. Prana Vashya follows the breath instead of following the movement and maintains the rhythm of the breath throughout the practice. Through breath control, Prana Vashya keeps the attention fixed on the asana, not allowing the mind to wander. Utilizing Kumbhakas (breath locks) in certain movements while performing asana and vinyasa has a very powerful and dynamic effect that develops intense stamina Physically, Physiologically and Psychologically.

Mysore is the International capital of 'Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga'. Mysore has produced great teachers like Sri T Krishnamacharya.
K Pattabi Jois, B N S Iyengar, Desikachary and BKS Iyengar are the followers of Sri T Krishnamacharya. These teachers were the first generation of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practitioners known in the last century. Chidananda was initiated into yoga by his father Sri S V VENKATESHAIAH who himself is an accomplished yoga teacher. Sri Chidananda has been practicing yoga from last 20 years under the guidance of his father Sri S V VENKATESHAIAH and Shankar Narayan Jois and Guru BNS Iyengar who is a disciple of Sri T Krishnamacharya. He began his practice at the age of 8 and has competed in state and national level programmes been awarded various prices for it. He also has been facilitated twice as 'Best Sports Man' of the year for his yoga practice discipline, by the Mysore State Independence Committee. He Completed his Graduation in Bachelor of Science (B Sc) through Mysore University. He began his teaching career in yoga at 16. His experience and deep understanding about postures has lead many students to practice proper asana and learn right posture without any physical injury.
