Jennifer teaches both Anusara classes, which link flowing sequences of postures with breath and alignment, as well
as a slow, deep style called yoga for flexibility. She began practicing yoga in 1995 with Rodney Yee at the Piedmont Yoga Studio in Oakland, CA. She has practiced Iyengar, Ashtanga and Anusara and incorporates over twenty years of modern dance with yogic principles. Jennifer teaches all age groups--women, men, children, teens, prenatal, postpartum--privately and in groups. She particularly enjoys helping people gain strength and feel more centered inside and out through the practice of yoga.

Hatha-Raja Yoga combines and integrates most of the popular Yogic styles known in the West today, most of them emanating
from the tradition of Krishnamacharia. Out of this tradition evolved in the modern era a number of schools -- among them Ashtanga Yoga (Patthabi Jois), Iyengar Yoga and Vini Yoga (Desikachar).
Special attention is made to precise alignment and correct performance of the Yoga postures. Yael Ziv teaches principles which allow the students to practice in a stable, relaxed and effortless manner, and awaken their Energy Body.
