Friendship Yoga, established in 1993, is one of the oldest and most highly respected yoga centers in the Iowa. We offer courses for students of all levels, weekend workshops and retreats, as well as programs covering various aspects of the science and art of yoga. Our curriculum is based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, the world’s foremost living yoga teacher. The Iyengar method is precise, systematic, and accessible to students of all ages and abilities. Nancy Footner, the only certified Iyengar Yoga teacher in Iowa, is the founder and director of Friendship Yoga.
