This is an Astanga Vinyasa Yoga Centre, with early morning self practice classes and then beginners class. Iyengar yoga classes held in the afternoon by Roberta aiming more to give the correct posture and alignment. Boris' focus in the morning classes is on pranayama, meditation and the asanas, self practice with strong/soft adjustments and correct alignments. However, he will later also like to focus on theory developing and explaining what yoga and yoga philosophy are really all about. In the beginning comes a glimpse, an experience of what is eventually to become a familiar place, a state. A place to return to again and again, to be, to rest and restore the fundamental harmony in body and mind. Triopetra yoga centre is located in the south of Crete, passing the village of Akoumia, to the right of the bay of Agios Pavlos it overlooks the long sandy beach by triopetra, a formation of three rocks standing in the sea.
