Gina Salá is a vocalist, composer and teacher living in Seattle who has learned and shared songs at stages, living rooms, and huts throughout much of the world. She has been chanting mantra since the age of 3 while living at Swami Sivananda Radha's Yasodhara Ashram in Canada. Singing in 18 languages, she has performed at the United Nations, the U.S. Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol, is featured on Roland's 'Voices of the World' compilation and has recently completed a singing contract with Cirque du Soleil. With joyful awe at the power of sound and voice, and gratitude to her teachers worldwide, Gina leads voice workshops and cross-cultural kirtans internationally and is a co-director of Sound Healers of Washington. She has completed coursework with MHTP, IMHE, OPEN EAR CENTER. Offering techniques and humor from many cultures and traditions, her joy is helping youth and adults experience the pleasure of their own embodied free voices & the silent, loving Voice within.
