Every weekday at 6:30 p.m., Rickman stakes out a swath of sand on the beach behind the hotel at 52nd Street and Collins Avenue and offers a class called Yoga on the Beach. The gathering has attracted as many as 100 students, but it is mostly attended by a dedicated handful of yoga enthusiasts.
