Living Arts has been created in Montreal, Quebec to provide you with the experience of connecting intimately with your body, mind and soul. Whether it be a yoga class, instruction in mindfulness meditation, personal counseling, a retreat day, or group programs, all are designed to help you to develop practices that will support you as you move through your life.
Founded by Gina Rubinsky, certified Kripalu yoga teacher and stress management counselor, the services offer individual and group Kripalu yoga classes, full retreat days, workshops and mindfulness based stress reduction programs. The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program was initially developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusett's Medical Health Care Centre where Gina Rubinsky trained as a program facilitator. The same program is being offered by Living Arts and is unique in its kind in Quebec. The yoga classes are designed so that students familiarize themselves with the pratice of honouring their body's inner wisdom and are encouraged to bring this comapassionate awareness to themselves, both on and off the yoga mat.
