Innovative and independent, Anne honors and knows well the ancient traditions and asana systems of yoga practice. The aim in yoga class with Anne is to balance and support the respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological and subtle energy systems. Through years of witnessing fragmented human conditions, Anne's intention is to guide participants to acknowledge a state of oneness on and off the mat. Anne utilizes her diverse background in teaching yoga as a means to help students discover how physical practice reflects daily life. Your yoga practice will flourish with understanding and ease in self-awareness.

Having grown up in Central Illinois Anne was provided ample opportunity to witness, experience, and enjoy the beauty of silence and space. With parents who are retired school teachers, Anne understands the value of investigation and inquiry and trusts that there is a oneness that intertwines our lives as we share and honor this time on earth together.

While the commitment runs deep in providing a safe and caring environment at the yoga studio in each of her group and private yoga sessions, Anne has also held a deep commitment to In Depth Yoga Study since 2003 and will be holding her eighth session in 2012 and extending the choices by training both the 200 hour and the 500 hour level.
