About Litsa: Litsa's path to yoga was nurtured while living in Santa Monica, CA 10 years ago. She has studied with some of the most respected teachers including Steve Ross, Max Strom, Bryan Kest and Stephanie Keach. After completing Flow Yoga and Prenatal Certification at The Asheville Yoga Center, Stephanie Keach soon became a close mentor for Litsa and she began her teaching path. Her passion for both yoga and art would ultimately lead her to open Yogatopia yoga studio in Charlotte. More than 8,000 classes and 3 years later, she stepped away from the studio management business for the freedom of teaching corporate yoga, private lessons, leading workshops and retreats nationally and internationally, most recently in Greece where she grew up. Litsa has been teaching yoga for the past 8 years and intertwines creativity and yoga to offer a heart-centered, emotionally and physically sacred approach to her teaching. Her classes integrate strength, symmetry, intuition, fluidity and meditation while creating an ecstatic flow of energy in the body that produces joy, suppleness and stability. Her students come from diverse backgrounds and physical abilities but all benefit. She has developed yoga programs for young professional dancers for the NC Dance Theatre, professional athletes, Alzheimer's Seniors in Assisted Living Centers, stay at home moms, hospital employees and fortune 500 companies. She is the creator of "Yogatopia, The Art of Vinyasa Flow," yoga DVD series.
