Miyoga is a Hatha style of yoga best described as a form of moving meditation. Designed to unite mind and body, increase awareness of the body through movement, increase awareness of our thoughts and feelings through focus and stillness. By adapting the postures to our body rather than the other way around we are able to challenge ourselves physicaly without injury and achieve the maximum benefits for ourselves. At the Centre we promote discovery and self acceptance, not comparison,judgment and criticism. Yoga is then a slow unravelling that takes place each time we enter our practice, surprising us anew, like the unwrapping of a gift - the gift of ourselves.
