Smooth yoga has been developed after an intensive period of research into various yoga forms, spontaneous movement, dance, Tai Chi, holotropic breathwork, free drawing, and many forms of self healing such as massage and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Each class is unique, and tailored to meet the needs of both seasoned and beginning practitioners. Private, small group, large presentations, and business programs are available. Costs are economical & on sliding fee scale, as little as $5 per class. Current classes are held: Tuesdays @ 5:30 pm & Sat. @ 10:30 am at the Quapaw Community Ctr. - 500 Quapaw Ave., in Hot Springs
The chief instructor has 44 years combined experience in yoga, TAI CHI and therapeutic massage, and has written a book for applying yoga to ones everyday life: Pictures of Health to Breathe & Move With. Yoga chanting & meditation are specialties of the primary instructor, and he's used yoga to kick a drug dependency in the 70's. Various times are available for private instruction and corporate classes. For out of town presentations or classes, contact the practice by phone or e-mail. A minimum number is required for all classes and new classes are definitely welcome.
