Uma has been practising yoga over 30 years. She learned meditation from phra T. Bikkhu and inspired from Osho philosophy around late 1990s. She included Kundalini Yoga's breathing technique focusing on mantras and chakras, to her intense Yoga style in 2000. Later on she learned Bikram Style and Sivananda Style in New Zealand. Found her yoga way in Sivananda style and gained "yoga siromani" title from Sivananda Yoga V.D. Ashram/India. In 2006 she attended to Sadhana Intensive program at Sivananda Kutir/Himalayas, certified as "yoga bhaskara". Last years, she is regularly attending to Vipassana Meditation Seclusions; improving her meditation. As an instructor she regarded herself an instrument of yoga. Currently she is teaching yoga in Istanbul, holding retreats, and believes as one concentrates/meditates through a yogasana the physical limits expand.
