I teach students Yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breathing) and mindfullness. These are, in fact, valuable ancient mind-body interventions that foster greater self-care and empowerment,and serve as tools that are with students forever. As a Yoga Therapist, I work individually with students' life issues or physical conditions to inspire them to delve deeper into all that Yoga and mindfullness have to offer. Students experience the benefits of improved handling of stress, physical and emotional pain, as well as increaed body awareness, flexibility and strength. Over the sessions students learn to use the breath, the mind,and all body systems to create movement and ease. Group classes are also available and open to newcomers and varied fitness levels.
