Brick teaches individual sessions and classes in the Bay Area, emphasizing Viniyoga and its profound approach for fostering lifelong wellness and transformation. Individual sessions are tailored to respect personal needs and limitations, guiding the student step-by-step to meet their own goals and cultivate a happy, healthy, prosperous life. Viniyoga classes focus on exploring the profound connection between movement and breath. The practice fosters core strength and suppleness, while emphasizing the breath to cultivate a graceful, fluid flow. The result: a strong but supple core body, a focused aware mind, and growing sense that we all share a joyous vibrant stillness within each moment. About the Teacher Brick embarked on his spiritual path over 12 years ago by living and working for over a year at a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center. In the decade that followed, he avidly studied Tai Chi, Martial Arts, and Yoga, culminating with a 4-month trip to India that turned into a 4-year journey. In India, Brick studied traditional forms of yoga, meditation, and medicine with an emphasis on Viniyoga, studying at the source at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram under TKV Desikachar. He currently teaches Viniyoga classes in the Bay Area (see the yogayana.com website for details), but encourages his students to benefit from 1 to 1 individual instruction and develop a personal practice for lasting well-being and transformation.
