Kids' Yoga Circle

Darlene D’Arezzo is a frequently sought after subject expert, educator, and writer and, a pioneer in the field of yoga for children with special needs. Darlene has been featured in several publications, television programs, and online. Darlene began her formal training in India in 1998 with world-renowned yoga teacher B.K.S. Iyengar, then completed Yoga Works’ Teacher Training as well as Kausthub Desikachar’s Kids’ Yoga Teacher Training the following year. Darlene now teaches in the Viniyoga tradition, having studied with Gary Kraftsow and the American Viniyoga Institute since 1999. Darlene is a contributing editor and writes a column, "Kids on the Mat", for Yogi Times magazine and is featured in the kids' yoga DVD Little Yoga, narrated by Gweneth Paltrow, and authored Meditations for Me: A Child’s Guide to the Practice of Yoga. After several years of teaching in the Los Angeles area at schools and at such studios as Yoga Works and exhale spa (formerly Sacred Movement), Darlene founded Kids' Yoga Circle in 2004. Through KYC, she conducts kids’ classes and workshops, family retreats, and teacher trainings throughout the United States.
