I am a RYT200 Hatha Yoga Instructor. My certification is from the Kriya Yoga lineage (Temple of Kriya Yoga, Chicago, IL). I embrace both the spiritual and the physical aspects of practising and teaching yoga. Without a solid grounding in the physical one cannot expand into the fullness of the spiritual aspects of the practice. My certification emphasizes a grounding in the anatomy and biomechanics of asana and a spiritual component that encompasses the basics of pranayama and meditation. I strive to share these components of the practice with my students . . . with every class that I teach. I provide a safe environment in which my students can thoroughly learn to physically, energetically and spiritually experience their bodies. The awareness that they develop on these levels can assist them in handling the day to day responsibilities and challenges that they regularly face. I am providing, for a limited time period, free one hour sessions during which time you can experience the energetis of your yoga practice. Please reference the YogaFinder offer.
