Offering classes that challenge your idea of what the "edge" is. Focussed, creative, insightful and FUN Ashtanga Yoga classes tapping the wellspring of Indian tradition, with emphasis on mindfulness and meditative embodiment of principles from philosophical foundations of the Yoga tradition. Classes often include Sanskrit chanting and we explore pranayama in each class to become established in the body-mind mandala. Asanas are taught in the Vinyasa method (linkage between postures, mindfulness in movement, breathing)and in the Iyengar style: longer-held postures investigating the linkages between anatomy, alignment, subtle body, philosophy and self-inquiry.
