The retreat will take place in the village of Afissos, located in the mountain of Pelion, which is full of scenes of subtle beauty, of stunning scenery, luscious nature, silky sandy beaches, spring water falls, winding cobble-stoned paths, of healing energy. It includes : *Accomodation : The retreat will take place in small apartments – hostels, built in a traditional Pelion style, in front of the Kalifteri beach.. *Daily practice of yoga and meditation. There will be a two hour practice, five days per week with Maria Karastergiou. Maria has been trained as a holistic psychologist in Canada (BA), as a psychopedagogue in Paris (PhD) as well as a yoga teacher. She has been practising yoga for the past 12 years. She completed her teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with the well known internationally Kristina Karitinou. She counts Kristina, Manjou Joys, Joly in Varkala, Kerala, Caroline in Paris, Nota Rota in Athens as great influences. She's been privileged to learn from many superb teachers and has practised Kundalini, hatha, Partner & Ashtanga yoga. Has followed seminars & workshops all over the world. Maria has invented her own yoga style,Raw Essence Yoga, a combination of different styles with emphasis on Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Enthusiastic professional with vision, spiritual quests, with many years of research into holistic health and nutrition, vegetarian since she was very young, raw food (raw vegan)
