A Yoga, Dance and Karate Community Center in East Village: We're located in downtown San Diego; with a 1200 sq. ft. honey wood floor overlooking a south-facing view of the Coronado Bridge, city scape and bay. Doubling as the home of those who make it happen, ladies determined to make sustainability sexy, it is also: a dance and yoga studio; a community center; a distribution site for farm-fresh & local food, honey, jewelry, music, & art; an art gallery; a special event venue and more. Our Mission: We are a yoga and dance community center offering San Diego a daily diet comprised of locally-grown and organic "SOUL FOOD" - food, movement, culture, contact & connection - that feeds, sustains and nourishes the human spirit! Yoga is so much more than movement (Asana), breath work (Pranayama) and meditation (Dhyana): Yoga is a Science of life that brings one into understanding of the self and the Oneness of all. Yoga brings happiness, health and spiritual well being. For this reason we offer a full yoga program! We offer classes on three yogic paths: Raja Yoga (the scientific, technical yoga of the mind through exploration of the body), Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of love), Karma Yoga (the yoga of action) For the Raja Yogi, we offer Hatha and Kundalini Yoga. This is the most common path for a western yogi. Daily classes are offered at 8:00 am. Evening classes are offered on Monday at 7:30 pm, Thursday at 5:30 pm and Friday at 6:30 pm.
