I hope that Yoga brings as many teachings, joy and well being to my students as it has brought to me. I feel that teaching Yoga, besides being a dream come true, is an honor and a responsibility that requires attention, knowledge, caring, preparation and flexibility. More than a teacher, I see myself as a dedicated student who loves to practice, learn and share. Everyday I am excited to explore, research, practice, and share Yoga with others. Following the example of teachers I admire, in every class I do my best to help students discover their own way of practicing Yoga. Observing my own students I noticed the need for an instructional bilingual yoga video, Yoga Here + Now ( www.Yoga-Here-Now.com ) appropriate for true beginning students. My video guides beginners in 8 sessions of integrated yoga practice that include appropriate postures, breathing, meditation and guided relaxation. In my classes I emphasize the breath as the element that guides, inspires and brings the poses to life so that we can integrate the actions of the breath, the body, the mind and the spirit. I teach yoga in English and Spanish for groups and individuals.
