ISHTA is the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda. It is also a Sanskrit word meaning 'personalized'. The idea is that since everybody and every body is different, we all need our own personal approach to our practice. I offer private lessons in Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. I also teach Yoga philosophy, pranayama and meditation both privately and at Vayu Yoga in Carroll Gardens. Learn to connect to your breath so that you may heal the body, focus the mind, and experience JOY in the present moment! I am a certified Thai Yoga Massage and Reiki practitioner. My goal as an energy worker is to help you eliminate toxins, bad posture and habits and replace those with positive energy. In Yoga we do this with the breath - energy flows into the body on the breath. In massage and reiki, you simply relax and I do it for you.
