Ongoing group classes offered in Chicago, IL (Hyde Park and River North neighborhoods). Small group and private classes by appointment. Dynamic, and engaging teaching style. The Iyengar method of hatha yoga develops body/mind awareness through attention to proper body alignment and subtle adjustments in each yoga posture (asana). The result is heightened awareness, and improved flexibility, strength, endurance and energy. I began my practice in 1997, and teaching since 2004. Graduate of Studio Yoga Teacher Training Program in Madison, NJ (5 years of continuous study). Iyengar yoga certified at first level (Intro I). Approved for Iyengar teacher certification exam scheduled in September 2012.
