Shantaya means Peaceful in Sanskrit. Much more than a new style of Hatha Yoga, this holistic Yoga practice incorporates many of the most valuable teachings from all the branches of Yoga. Additional holistic health practices are also utilized in this full spectrum approach to help develop the entire individual on many levels. Time will be divided between asana (poses), breath and energy practices, discussion of the history and philosophy of Yoga, meditation, relaxation and a variety of other active and meditative practices varying each week.
