For four days every year, with the help of Yoga Conference Germany, Cologne becomes Europe's City of Yoga. YCG brings renowned yoga teachers and Yoga enthusiasts from all over the world together. YCG welcomes nearly 400 participants each year from over 18 Countries (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, and the USA). Now heading into our fourth year, we?ve become an annual highlight in the European Yoga community.
Our dedicated teachers are at the heart of Yoga Conference Germany. Bryan Kest, Mark Whitwell, Sharon Gannon, David Life, Dharma Mittra, John Scott, R.Sriram, Marc Darby, Jasmine Tarkeshi, and Dana Flynn are a few of the many wonderful teachers we?ve had the honor to host. We strive to represent diversity and unity, as well as traditional Yoga and pioneers of new traditions of Yoga. With Viniyoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Dharma Mittra Yoga, Jivamukti Yoga, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Acro Yoga, classical as well as modern styles are represented at YCG. We wish to show our participants that Yoga is a living science based on ancient traditions as well as new paths. Our mission is to introduce beginning students to the practice of yoga, stimulate advanced practitioners to deepen their personal growth and inspire teachers of Yoga to spread the information of Yoga to their own community.
