I have been teaching since 1995, and my certifications include a two-week intensive with Yogi Hari of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a two-year certification program with the late Esther Myers of Toronto in the style created by the late Vanda Scaravelli of Italy; and certification in AcuYoga with Michael Reed Gach, Ph.D. of Berkley, CA. Acu-yoga is the use of yoga postures, deep breathing and acupressure. I have participated in many other workshops with internationally known and respected teachers. I am also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and a NC Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist. I am currently enrolled at Duke University's Center for Integrative Medicine's Certified Health Coach program and work as a Health Coach.
