Ananda Life Center

The Ananda Life Center is a nurturing space for children and their families to have fun while discovering the joy of yoga through Itsy Bitsy Yoga, Budding Lotus Yoga, and Teen Yoga Programs. It is our mission to share the gift of yoga through enriching classes and yoga-inspired workshops with all the budding yogis in our community.

Ananda children learn a creative, playful way of exercising that gives them an outlet to explore, discover and tap into their limitless imaginations. We honor the whole child by engaging the mind, body, and spirit. By using fun and animated poses that imitate animals and nature, children improve their flexibility, coordination and balance. By using breathing and visualization techniques children learn to focus, relax, and develop self-control. By encouraging compassion, self-awareness, and teamwork in a non-competitive atmosphere, children nurture their spirit. Starting yoga at an early age establishes a mind-body connection and gives children the skills to lead a balanced life.
