Classes through Arlington Center for Yoga, Arlington Community Education, Arlington Senior Center, Isis Maternity, and Harvard University Houses through Harvard Wellness; workshops at the Arlington Center for Yoga and privates (especially but not limited to prenatal). Classes explore yogic practice as meditation in motion through a series of slowly flowing and sustained yin postures. Each class includes an invigorating slow flow linking movement to breath to build up strength and endurance; an energizing sequence for cardiovascular conditioning; a series of sustained yin holds and traditional asanas to increase flexibility and balance; and a focus on meditation and breathing techniques. Elements of Kundalini, Yin Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Restoratives included in classes. Modifications for injuries or inflexibility a specialty. Privates and small groups welcome.
